Plenary speaker

Professor Thomas W. Ebbesen (USIAS, University of Strasbourg, France) will give the opening plenary at SPP9.

We are delighted that Professor Ebbesen will share his perspectives on "Polaritons in Material Science", while this occasion also allow all of us to celebrate the now tenth SPP conference in the series launched with the first SPP0 chaired and organized in Obernai/Alsace by Professor Ebbesen!

For an account of the merits of Professor Ebbesen, please see this link
